Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Swift Therapy Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Adhering to state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy, while supervising other staff as needed.
• Conducting comprehensive patient examinations, evaluations, and developing personalized treatment plans to address functional limitations.
• Providing thorough assessment services by reviewing patient histories, performing specific clinical assessments, and thoroughly documenting results and recommendations.
• Implementing treatment protocols tailored to each patient’s needs, based on evaluation findings and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and recognizing when modifications to treatment plans are necessary.
• Completing discharge planning, follow-up care, and meticulous documentation of patient progress, including evaluations and encounter notes.
• Engaging in continuous professional development by completing required training and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Attending team meetings and contributing to initiatives designed to improve patient accessibility and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Swift Therapy Center, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions requiring physical rehabilitation. Your expertise will guide patients ranging from athletes to seniors, each requiring tailored treatment regimens to restore functional mobility and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited PT program.
• A valid physical therapy license as required by the state of Florida.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
• A current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required, candidates with additional specialized training in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or pain management will be given preference. Your ability to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy is also highly valued.
