Brave Recovery Counseling Services is seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) to join our innovative and growing team. This is a full-time position primarily conducted through a telehealth framework, allowing you to provide vital mental health services from the comfort of your home. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping individuals and families navigate and overcome their mental health challenges.

Work Environment

As part of our telehealth operations, you will embrace a flexible work setting that allows you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal life. This role operates primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to accommodate the unique needs of our patients. You will be supported by advanced telehealth platforms, ensuring seamless connections with clients while maintaining compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and compassionate mental health assessments to accurately identify patients' needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Lead therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families to facilitate personal growth and healing.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, fostering community and connection among clients facing similar challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow professionals, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and offer immediate support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating swift and effective management.
  • Educate clients on a spectrum of mental health topics, treatment modalities, and available resources, empowering them with knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation aligned with legal, ethical, and service standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
  • Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to enhance your therapeutic skills and support team synergy.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and research developments in mental health to continually elevate practice standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and established therapeutic modalities.
  • Demonstrated skill in conducting detailed mental health evaluations and crafting effective treatment strategies.
  • Experience providing both individual and group therapy across a range of issues for varied populations.
