Work Environment

Our Immokalee location features a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, designed to enhance the healing process for our patients. As an onsite outpatient office, our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and resources. The work schedule is set from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a structured yet flexible work-life balance for our staff. Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and comply with state practice acts regulating physical therapy practices, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and ethical standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients who present with functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform specific assessments and gather relevant patient history to inform treatment decisions, meticulously documenting evaluation results and recommendations.
  • Implement treatment protocols effectively, adjusting techniques based on patient progress and any evolving healthcare guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers when necessary, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require modifications to the care plan.
  • Oversee discharge planning, ensuring appropriate follow-up care is arranged and that all patient interactions and treatment efforts are documented promptly and accurately.
  • Participate in corporate and clinical training to remain compliant with state and federal regulations and uphold the quality of care standards.
  • Contribute to team efforts that facilitate patient access to therapy services, actively engaging in initiatives that aim to remove barriers to healthcare.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population in our outpatient center, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our goal is to provide personalized therapy that addresses each patientโ€™s unique needs, enabling them to achieve optimal recovery and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications
  • Current Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist, meeting all required legal and professional standards.
  • A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is essential for this role.
  • Current CPR certification, ensuring preparedness for emergency situations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a collaborative outpatient clinic setting.
  • Proficient in utilization of electronic medical records (EMR) for documenting patient care and treatment outcomes.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practice protocols in orthopedic physical therapy.
