- Expected full-time salary range between $135,000 - 150,000 + variable compensation + 401(k) match + benefits.

Summary:
The Assistant Vice President, Cyber Resilience and Recovery Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's data infrastructure, ensuring robust data continuity and swift recovery processes. This position is tailored for individuals with a background in Financial Services, Banking, or Financial Market Infrastructure firms, focusing on fortifying data resilience strategies that align with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Define a data resiliency program that encapsulates governance structure, roles, responsibilities, operational readiness, control inventory, and implementation.
- Coordinate with the technology team to create and implement testing programs for data backups.
- Establish a governance framework for data immutability, ensuring alignment with global data protection regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify gaps in the data immutability lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data resilience measures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for data protection practices.
- Facilitate training sessions to raise data resilience awareness.
- Leverage emerging technologies to enhance data recovery capabilities.
- Prepare reports for senior management on data resilience status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in data recovery and resilience within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to identify potential data risks.
