Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • PM role will be primarily focused on managing the site workplace wellness and inclusion initiatives.
  • PM role will also be required to maintain and expand community partnerships and represent Eurofins at external events. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work weekend events occasionally will be an expectation.  (<10% of time)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently are essential skills. 
  • Hybrid schedule is an option, weekly presence on-site is a requirement.
  • Coordinate data gathering and content for the business line annual sustainability report
  • Enhance the sustainability report to include data that is being requested by clients or in order to comply with current industry expectations
  • Work with department management to publish articles in company/client newsletters to communicate sustainable initiatives
  •  Provide education for clients/employees related to sustainable business practices and ESG initiatives
  • Help to support Sustainability program initiatives
  • Communicate and provide support to external contacts for existing programs related to the sustainability program
  • Coordinate projects with Facilities and EHS management to reduce waste and energy consumption and recognize cost savings – may include grant writing when applicable
  • Independently research and present new project ideas related to sustainable initiatives including ROI data for Executive Management
  • Assist with training new employees in the Sustainability department
  • Support expansion of program at other Eurofins BPT sites 
  • Develop tools to track company cost savings specific to sustainable initiatives for Executive Management
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in science, public health, communications with coursework/focus/concentration in sustainability
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
