What is a sustainability internship?

A Sustainability Internship is a temporary position, often for students or recent graduates, that focuses on supporting an organization’s efforts to improve its environmental, social, and economic impact. Interns may work on projects related to energy efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable supply chains, or community outreach. These roles provide hands-on experience in sustainability practices, research, and reporting, while helping organizations meet their sustainability goals. Interns also gain valuable skills and insights into the growing field of sustainability, which can be useful for future careers.
