This is a great opportunity for a licensed survey professional who wants to work on meaningful transportation, utility, municipal, land development, and infrastructure projects while continuing to grow with a collaborative, well-established team. This role offers flexibility to be based in any STV Texas office and provides the chance to build a rewarding career in professional surveying while supporting projects that help shape communities and infrastructure across the state.

Why STV?

At STV, you will be part of a team that values technical excellence, innovation, mentorship, and long-term career growth. • Assist with plats, legal descriptions, easement exhibits, right-of-way mapping, and survey calculations.
  • Perform quality checks to help ensure survey data and deliverables meet project requirements, client expectations, and STV quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, CAD technicians, field crews, and geospatial professionals to keep projects moving forward.
  • Promote safe work practices and follow company safety procedures in both field and office environments.
  • Continue building your technical knowledge of surveying principles, industry standards, and emerging survey technologies.

What You'll Bring

  • Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) licensed in Texas, or the ability to obtain Texas licensure through reciprocity within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a licensed professional supporting transportation, municipal, utility, land development, or infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Working knowledge of survey principles, coordinate systems, field procedures, and data collection methods.
  • Experience with GPS/GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, digital levels, electronic data collectors, or similar survey equipment.
  • Familiarity with Trimble Business Center, Civil 3D, Carlson Survey, MicroStation, Microsoft Office, or similar surveying software.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments while adapting to changing project priorities.
  • A collaborative communication style, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work for clients and project teams.
