We are looking for Part-Time colleagues to join our team!
We are looking for colleagues who can quickly perpetuate a culture that embraces great design and superlative service. Our hotel seeks unique individuals who have a passion for exceptional hotel service that is both intuitive and personal, and who best express that belief in an atmosphere of spontaneity and authenticity. At Alila Hotels, a Hyatt Hotels brand, we believe our guests select our luxury resort because of our caring and attentive colleagues who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful, surprisingly different experiences.
Restaurant and Pool servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment. If you have experience as a server in a restaurant, we'd love to hear from you!
The hourly rate for this opportunity is $16.90. Alila Ventana Big Sur is an all-inclusive resort which means select positions such as this are eligible to receive a service charge payout ranging from $70-$80/hour for PM shift and $40-$50/hour for AM servers *subject to change based on business levels. This is the pay rate for this position at Ventana Big Sur, and Alila Resort reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factor including experience, and training levels.
Shift Times: AM and PM shifts are available from 6:30am - 2:30pm / 7:30am-3:30pm and 3:30pm to 11:30pm.
