Job description

Delta Solutions & Strategies is looking for a Senior Regional Affairs SME at Offutt Air Force Base. This position supports United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Joint Exercises, Training, and Assessment Directorate (J7) in the planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of strategic-level joint exercises and training events supporting strategic deterrence and global operations missions.

This position will provide senior-level regional affairs and international coordination expertise supporting joint exercise operations, strategic planning activities, and global mission integration efforts. This role supports operational coordination with interagency partners, Combatant Commands, allied and partner nations, and host nation stakeholders to enable strategic-level exercise execution and operational objectives.

What you'll be doing
  • Support planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of strategic-level joint exercises and operational activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on regional affairs, international coordination, and interagency engagement activities.
  • Support operational coordination involving allied nations, partner nations, host nation organizations, and interagency stakeholders.
  • Assist with development of operational planning products, briefing materials, coordination documents, and mission support activities.
  • Coordinate with operational planners, regional stakeholders, mission partners, and senior leadership to support exercise objectives and operational integration.
  • Support overseas coordination activities related to operational access, communications, logistics, and mission support requirements.
  • Provide regional expertise supporting European or Indo-Pacific operational planning and exercise activities.
  • Participate in planning conferences, rehearsals, after-action reviews, and lessons learned activities.
  • Support strategic deterrence and global operations mission requirements through regional coordination and operational integration activities.
What you'll need
  • Minimum of 15 years of interagency and/or Combatant Command international affairs experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of overseas experience required.
  • Experience supporting European affairs or Indo-Pacific affairs operational activities required.
  • Experience supporting international coordination, operational access, host nation engagement, or strategic mission integration activities.
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting operational planning, regional coordination, and interagency collaboration efforts.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in international affairs, economics, or related field required.
  • Strong communication, coordination, briefing, and operational planning skills.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
