Job description


POSITION SUMMARY
  • IS Operation Production Coordinator.
  • Supports the Project Management Team with input regarding resolution of Production changes or Issues.
  • Evaluate escalations from the Program Managment and Project Management team that require knowledge of the project.
  • Provide assistance to Project Management team to determine the identify and resolve issues.
  • Document Parts requests from the Project Management team.
  • Understand and accurately review and retrieve the latest revision of the project drawings to verify Change Order requests.
  • Coordinate and verify information with the Engineering Team.
  • Coordinate multiple Projects Changes at once with Sr Master PLanner.
  • Ensure accuracy in maintaining records such as quantities and timely updates.
  • Ability to update and report out on a regular cadence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure timely and accurate action is taken from requests assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with Project team members including, Engineering, Project Management and IMS.
  • Set and maintain a certain standard of excellence for your quality of work.
  • Set daily goals and ensure follow-through.
  • Resolve issues encountered with use of engineering tools and resources
  • Have strong understanding of Construction, circuit breakers, transformers, UPS systems and control systems.
  • Have a methodical approach to work and the ability to make accurate measurements.
  • Committed to keeping up with industry developments and to work to a schedule with planned deadlines.
  • Have strong industrial application experience.
  • Work as a team member or alone to complete projects.
  • Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.
  • Make decisions based on technical documents / E-drawings and adhere to Strick guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4 years of technical experience with Construction Projects
  • Knowledge of low voltage switchboard / switchgear design, installation, and use
  • Knowledge of local, state, & federal codes governing the installation and use of low voltage switchboards/switchgear.
  • Working knowledge in Autodesk suite of Engineering software including AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Applications and ProCore
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications.
  • Interpreting customer specification requirements.
  • Ability to think outside the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with no impact on quality, reliability or maintainability.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • No Special Physical Requirements
  • Light Lifting (5 Ibs.-25 Ibs.)
  • Medium Lifting (30 Ibs. - 45 Ibs.)
  • Frequent Standing

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
  • Working around moving machinery (fork-lifts, tractors)
  • Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.)
  • Work outdoors (no effective protection from weather)
