Peterson Cat has a need for a Product Support Manager at our Redding, CA location.

SUMMARY

This primary job function of this position is to oversee all branch operations at the store location. Develop and maintain positive relationships with current customer base, consistently exceeding all customers' expectations. Understand the customer and their specific business needs in assigned region.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supervising branch personnel, addressing performance issues, and preparing and delivering performance evaluations to continuously improve customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

  • Provide coaching, mentoring and development of staff to meet the needs of our customers and future business opportunities and growth.

  • Work closely with the Product Support Sales Manager to increase store revenue within the assigned territory.

  • Manage the profit and loss (P/L) for the store operation product line.

  • Responsible for forecasting, budgeting and expense control.

  • Ensure that all Peterson policies and procedures are adhered to throughout the branch to instill and foster a positive working environment.

  • Follow up with the customer to ensure Peterson has met their needs. Maintain good customer relations; intercede to solve problems and disputes; look for ways to enhance customer relations within scope of the Company mission statement.

  • Responsible for branch safety program, maintenance, cleanliness, organization and security. Ensure staff member attendance at weekly/monthly safety meetings. Participate in shop inspections and safety committee meetings as required.

  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time to company subsidiaries as required.

  • Operate company or personal vehicle as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in Business or other closely related field; and a minimum of five years of directly related experience as manager, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license, with a clean driving record and have access to reliable transportation.

The pay range for this position is: $99,000.00 - $120,000.00 (Starting wage will depend on experience and education. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.)
