Overview

Join Physicians Mutual as a Sales Support Coordinator, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our Agency team and helping drive growth across our national distribution network. This is an exciting opportunity to combine administrative excellence with relationship-building, while supporting sales leaders, agents and distribution partners.

Responsibilities
  • Support Sales Leaders & Agents - Provide comprehensive business support to Regional Sales Directors, Account Managers, Agency Principals, and Agents.
  • Coordinate New Business Processing - Serve as case coordinator from application submission through policy delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Deliver Outstanding Service - Provide professional, high-quality service to policyholders, Agents, vendors and internal Home Office teams.
  • Build Strong Relationships - Foster positive working relationships with Agents, Field Sales Management, Agency Principals, and support staff.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business Administration is a plus.
  • 4 years of administrative experience, ideally in an insurance or sales support environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet applications and general PC use.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and guide others effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities; capable of managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and HIPAA privacy regulations is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Physicians Mutual products, benefits and underwriting guidelines preferred.
