Job description


Zachry Group Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for the strategy, coordination and delivery of project related sourcing, purchasing, expediting, logistics, and material management in accordance with the plan, budget and schedule established for the project while also ensuring that the Supply Chain team adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Project Execution Plan and the Prime Contract.
Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Project Manager (SCPM) is assigned (in a matrix fashion) to the Project Management Team (PMT), reporting to the Project Director to lead, and coordinate the delivery of Supply Chain services. The Supply Chain Project Manager shall have regular interface with the PMT and owner as well as vendors, suppliers and subcontractors. Provides strong, effective and decisive project leadership overseeing the staffing and overall execution strategy including the procurement awards to ensure the work meets the contract budget and schedule while maintaining stewardship on corporate processes and procedures.
The SCPM is the single point of accountability on a project supply chain execution
The SCPM is a customer and market facing position, requiring regular interface and reporting of work to customers as well as frequent interface with vendors and suppliers for contract execution
Qualifications
Required education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or applicable experience.
Required experience: 5-10 years
The Supply Chain Project Manager should have at a minimum 5-10 years of EPC experience that include: responsibilities for supply chain management on projects of up to $1B and along with managing a team of more than 20 individuals. The SCPM should possess market acumen for a majority of spend categories, demonstrate proficiency in contract negotiations, claim management, understand the majority of the components of supply chain risks and be capable and fluent with project management tools and work processes
