Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Configure PLMSI in SAP to support integration scenarios with Teamcenter, including data models, BOM management, ECO/Change Management, materials planning, and workflow integration.
  • Define and implement data synchronization patterns (master data, BOM, classifications, documents) between SAP and Teamcenter, including delta and real-time updates where applicable.
  • Collaborate with Teamcenter administrators/consultants to design interfaces, IDocs/RI interfaces, BAPIs, RFCs, PI/PO interfaces, or middleware needed for data exchange.
  • Configure and validate change management processes (ECOs, Change Numbers, effectivity dates) across both systems.
  • Ensure alignment of lifecycle statuses, object types, attribute mappings, and version control between SAP and Teamcenter.
  • Develop test scripts and participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for PLMSI-Teamcenter flows.
  • Provide cutover strategy, data migration plan, and post-go-live hypercare support.
  • Create and maintain functional design documents (FDD), solution design documents (SDD), test plans, and user manuals.
  • Troubleshoot interface issues (data mapping errors, replication latency, reconciliation of records) and coordinate with SAP Basis/NetWeaver, SAP PI/PO (or CPI), and middleware teams as needed.
  • Stay current with SAP PLMSI and Teamcenter releases, patches, and best practices; assess impact of updates on interfaces.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements for PLMSI-Teamcenter integration and map them to SAP PLMSI capabilities.
