What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote BOM (Bill of Materials) Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote BOM Management professional, you need a solid understanding of supply chain processes, materials planning, and experience with BOM structures, typically supported by a degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems like SAP or Oracle, BOM management software, and spreadsheet tools is crucial for this role. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are key soft skills that set top performers apart.
