ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Sr. Global Supply Chain Inventory amp; Planning Analyst to join our team. This position will be part of our Supply Chain Operations team, responsible for a variety of activities including data driven planning, inventory optimization, and management of the global supply chain. This role ensures the proper service, inventory and cost by leveraging analytics, improving planning processes, and partnering cross functionally throughout the organization. In addition, this role will perform Supply Chain/Operations analytics for the business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Supply and inventory planning
    • Responsible to develop and lead global inventory strategies, the translation of demand forecast into supply planning models, including safety stock, reorder point and lot sizing optimization for reagents, instruments, and consumables.
    • Monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance service targets and scrap/obsolescence reduction
    • Analyze demand and supply variability to continuously refine planning parameters within the planning model (currently excel driven) and ERP system to meet customer demand / forecasts
    • Lead production planning and procurement planning to ensure material availability and continuity of supply for both reagents, instruments and consumables
    • Responsible for creating work orders and manage the production schedule for manufacturing and kitting operations teams
    • May be responsible to maintain and update bills of materials in the ERP system as needed.
  • Data amp; Analytics
    • Analyze historical demand, shipment trends, and forecast performance to predict inventory levels and identify risks and opportunities in the global supply chain plan
    • Build and maintain reporting on key KPIs such an on-time delivery in full, safety stock performance, backorder, and cycle time
    • Prepare analysis and reports regarding production status, forecasts, and delivery health to leadership
    • Develop models and tools to improve planning accuracy, decision making using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Cross functional collaboration
    • Align with manufacturing and procurement on supply constraints, lead times, and capacity planning
    • Understand supply chain constraints and coordinate activities with manufacturing to ensure all resources are exercised and escalated for solution if any supply chain gap exists
    • Support S&OP process and provide data and analysis to support the presentation to leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or inventory management
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel (required); experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Syteline, Netsuite, Oracle)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred
  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts (forecasting, safety stock, lead times, service levels)
