ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR
The University of Alabama at Birmingham

General Responsibilities:
The Department of Nutrition Sciences is seeking an Administrative Supervisor. The Administrative Supervisor supervises employees and operations in a designated area. Responsible for employee training, auditing, product or service quality control, establishing productivity standards, performance issues, staffing, payroll, and other matters associated with the productivity and operations of the assigned area. Handles confidential information and issues. May have grant and budgetary responsibilities. Supervises the work of, but does not perform, the same duties as subordinate personnel. May have some administrative assistant duties, including building-related activities, such as ordering furniture, setting up offices for new employees, cleaning out offices and laboratories, disposing of unused furniture and equipment, working with Facilities and Maintenance, and managing compliance/regulatory processes. May act as a liaison to leadership and/or as the human resources officer for the department.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 
1.    Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Pay Range: $45,395 - $73,770
 

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Minimum hiring rate must meet the most current FLSA guidelines for salary level and basis to remain exempt.
