Job description

What You'll Do:

Supervision of Clean Up / Sanitation of the Plant

  • Cleaning at the end of production
  • The Production Manager is a back-up for this position

Paperwork

  • Documentation of what has been cleaned and when
  • Order Chemicals and Janitorial Supplies
  • Write & Update Cleaning Procedures for production lines
  • Manage and direct pest control program

Vendor Relations

Requirements for Success:

  • 4 year degree in Food Science, Management/Supervision, or equivalent
  • Certified PCO, preferred
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Sanitation &/or Supervision – food industry preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements, equipment operation, & chemicals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer proficient – MS Office
  • Excellent Communication skills – written & verbal
  • Problem solver
  • Able to make quick, but accurate decisions
  • Good leadership qualities
