Job description
Responsibilities
Red Gold AMT’s will learn and/or perform industrial maintenance related tasks as directed by Red Gold leadership. Assignments will reflect recent in-class learnings and will be in the following areas:
- Electrical – AC/DC, circuits, motors, motor controls, troubleshooting, etc.
- Controls – PLCs, basic ladder logic, troubleshooting
- Mechanical – tools, principles, bearings, shafts & alignments, gears, conveyance, lubrication
- Fluid power & Pneumatic – hydraulics, principles & fundamentals, circuits, components
- Metal Fabrication – welding, machining, metal working
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Must be career-oriented and seeking rewarding work
- Must be interested in pursuing a manufacturing and STEM-related career path
Physical Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job:
- The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time whether that be sitting or standing
