Job description

You run work. Not just one job — multiple fast-moving commercial construction projects where your ability to stay ahead, think clearly, and keep subs aligned drives success. This Project Superintendent role puts you in the driver’s seat of 1-5 active commercial construction projects, depending on the size and complexity of each project. The pace is fast, the expectations are high, and your ability to stay organized, lead subcontractors, and keep jobs on schedule is what sets you apart. If you prefer variety over sitting on one long project and want full ownership of your work in the field, this role delivers that. You will work across Santa Clara and the surrounding Bay Area, leading projects in the field with minimal long-distance travel.

Construction Superintendent – You Will (Job Duties)


• Manage 1-5 commercial construction projects concurrently with varying complexity, some as fast-paced as 6–12 week cycles, with longer timelines for more involved projects.
• Coordinate and lead all subcontractors on site, ensuring alignment on schedule, scope, and quality
• Own daily jobsite activity including scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics
• Run OAC meetings and interact directly with clients, architects, and project stakeholders
• Complete daily reports, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation using construction management software
• Lead job site safety including toolbox talks, safety meetings, and ongoing site inspections
• Maintain accurate and forward-looking project schedules to keep all jobs on track
• Identify and solve issues in real time to prevent delays across multiple active jobs
• Oversee punch, closeout, and turnover for multiple projects simultaneously

Project Superintendent – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)


• Proven track record working as a Project Superintendent within commercial construction
• Skilled in overseeing multiple concurrent projects, particularly in fast-paced or TI environments
• Hands-on involvement with tenant improvements, commercial interiors, or similar mid-sized builds
• Strong coordination experience managing multiple subcontractor trades on active jobsites
• Proficiency in handling project documentation including daily logs, submittals, and RFIs through construction software platforms
• Demonstrated ownership of jobsite safety, including leading meetings and enforcing standards
• Effective communicator in client-facing settings such as OAC meetings
• Ability to build, manage, and adjust project schedules across several active jobs of varying size and complexity simultaneously
• Background focused in commercial construction environments rather than residential work
