We serve families in the Sacramento area including parts of Yolo, Yuba and Placer Counties.

The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at end of life. Through an interdisciplinary team: nurse, nurse assistant, social worker, chaplain and volunteers, we help the patient and family walk through their journey.

As a volunteer, you can choose between many opportunities: the gift of companionship, emotional support to the patient and the family, respite for the caregiver, listening to or playing music, running errands or light housework, birthday celebrations.

Volunteers are trained in their role with patients. We are required to conduct background checks and a TB test, at no charge to all volunteers. No drug testing required.
