Job description

Sunbird Properties Maintenance, LLC is a family-owned and operated 5-Star professional tree service company and fence and gate repair company. Servicing Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus Countries.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our team. We are a growing tree care company that takes pride in our work and provides excellent customer service to our clients.
We are currently looking to hire a tree trimmer with lift experience. Full-time pay: $18.00 to $20.00 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Tree Trimmer to join our team! As a Tree Trimmer, you will be traveling to different job sites each day, inspecting trees and landscapes, and trimming, clearing, and removing branches and trees safely using various tools, including chainsaws. You will often be operating heavy machinery, will use either an aerial lift device or roping to get to higher branches, and will need to maintain the highest standards of safety. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in many different temperatures and weather conditions, is not afraid of heights, and can safely operate many different types of landscaping tools. 
Responsibilities 
  • Evaluate a job site to determine the best course of action when pruning or trimming a tree, while taking into account the health of the tree and the surrounding area
  • Use a rope and rigging system or an aerial lift to access the tops of trees and large bushes safely
  • Carry off and dispose of all tree debris, leaving a clean space behind
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Qualifications
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to use heavy landscaping equipment, including chainsaws, power pruners, and clippers
  • The ability to work on your feet all day, regularly lifting heavy objects
  • A valid drivers license
  • Minimum of 2 years Tree Service Industry Experience
