Summit Behavioral Health Resources is seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our remote team in Fort Worth, Texas. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being connected to a supportive team atmosphere. Our community health clinic operates from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, providing our clients with access to care that suits their schedules. You will be equipped with the necessary tools and resources to thrive, including remote access to electronic health records (EHR) systems and ongoing professional development.

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify clients' trauma history and ascertain suitable therapeutic approaches.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring clients receive the most effective care possible.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, aiding clients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering a path towards healing.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to provide integrated care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their mental health are addressed.
• Manage crisis interventions and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients navigate their most challenging moments with empathy and expertise.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources to empower their healing journeys.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and fostering trust.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continual professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay informed on current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery and client outcomes.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems and various computer applications.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-informed care.
• Demonstrated expertise or training in trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Ability to remain composed during high-stress situations while providing support to clients.
• A commitment to teamwork and professional collaboration within a multidisciplinary setting.
