Summit Behavioral Health Resources is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This position operates remotely while involving client care conducted through our outpatient office setting. Our innovative approach embraces flexibility, allowing team members to work with patients during extended hours, from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. • Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ trauma histories, ensuring an accurate evaluation for effective treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing trauma, acquiring coping strategies, and fostering healing and resilience.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care that meets patients’ mental health needs comprehensively.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, employing appropriate therapeutic measures to stabilize clients and ensure their safety.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, and share vital coping mechanisms and resources to empower them in their healing journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities, all focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay well-informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

Your focus will be on a diverse client population, primarily individuals coping with the effects of trauma. This includes both adults and adolescents experiencing trauma-related issues such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. You will also be expected to work with couples, where training will be provided to enhance your capability in dealing with complex dynamics within relationships.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach to patient care.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders, therapeutic modalities, and resilience-building interventions.
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and related computer applications.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to guaranteed pay, you can expect:
