Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. We understand the importance of a supportive work environment, and our team operates collaboratively even from a distance. We are available to our clients seven days a week, from 7 AM to 10 PM, ensuring that our services meet the diverse needs of our clientele. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Summit Behavioral Health Resources, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that are essential for effective patient care:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, applying best practices and evidence-based interventions like EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process their experiences, build coping strategies, and promote healing.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available coping resources.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development related to trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse population seeking assistance for trauma-related disorders, which may include veterans, individuals from historically marginalized backgrounds, and those affected by domestic violence. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC in the state of Washington.
• Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-informed treatment approaches and techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong clinical skills and an understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure counseling experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
• Experience providing therapy to couples and families; we offer specialized training for those willing to expand their skills in this area.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation, with yearly salaries ranging from $70,000 to $110,000. Our benefits package includes:
