Job description

Thornton's Ferry Elementary School is looking for a dedicated and compassionate long term substitute paraprofessional to join their staff. We are committed to fostering a positive culture where students, staff, and families feel valued, respected, and supported.
Job Goal:
To support students and to implement Individual Educational Plans and other prescribed plans, under the direction of a certified teacher or licensed professional.
Responsibilities:
Provide academic support 
Maintain communication and collaboration with students, parents, and staff
Provide a safe environment 
Accommodate students medical/physical needs 
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience and/or specialized training with individuals with special needs preferred
May require further specialized training and/or skills in addition to specific school assignments.
Hours per day:  7.25 Following the school calendar with nights, weekends, holidays, and summers off.
Days per week:   5
Salary $13.00 per hour 
Start date - on or around 1/5/2025
There are no benefits with this position
