Job description

Seeking a warm, flexible, team player who will serve as an assistant in our Early Childhood Center's PreK2 Classroom, along with providing as needed support in other ECC Classrooms.

The ideal candidate will bring positivity and love to our Early Childhood Center.

Key Job Responsibilities for an Assistant Teacher Include:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing activities and maintaining routines

  • Ensure student and classroom safety at all times

  • Provide one-on-one attention to children as needed

  • Support transitions between activities and routines

  • Observe and report any concerns about children’s development or behavior to the lead teacher

  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation standards

  • Maintain positive relationships and communication with parents and staff

Shared Responsibilities:

  • Diapering and feeding.

  • Logging naps, feeding, and diaper changes.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the daycare room.

This position is Full Time.
