Taylor Day is a distinguished litigation firm serving clients all over Florida across a broad spectrum of practice areas, such as business/commercial litigation, construction litigation, auto accident defense, trucking, workers' compensation, and premises liability. Summer Associates will work in our Jacksonville office for 12 weeks alongside attorneys from each practice group across the firm. Summer Associates will have the opportunity to conduct legal research, draft substantive motions and pleadings, attend hearings, depositions, trials, and mediations, and receive mentoring and feedback from numerous board-certified attorneys. The firm also has several social events, client interaction events, community service opportunities planned, so that Summer Associates will get a true feel for what it is like to practice law and be part of the team at Taylor Day. Our firm has been awarded "Best Places To Work in Jacksonville" multiple times over the last five years. Interested in civil litigation, particularly representing defendants.Top 50% of class (required), top 25% of class (preferred).At least one extracurricular such as Law Review, specialized Law Journal, Moot Court, or Mock Trial (preferred).
