Position Summary

The Summer Pest Control Technician role is a full-time seasonal position beginning in April/May 2026 and concluding around late August. Technicians will be trained to perform high-quality, safe, and compliant pest control services to residential customers across GPM's operating territory.

You'll receive comprehensive technical training, state certification preparation, and ongoing field support to ensure service quality and confidence in the field. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in providing great customer experiences, and want to be part of a team making a visible difference in the community.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional pest control services using GPM-approved treatment methods, tools, and safety practices.
  • Operate service vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly (equipment up to 30 lbs).
  • Treat interior and exterior residential properties for a variety of seasonal pests including ants, spiders, wasps, and rodents.
  • Communicate effectively with customersexplaining service processes, treatment benefits, and safety information.
  • Maintain a positive brand presence at the door, in driveways, and in neighborhoods.
  • Follow assigned daily routes and service schedules with timeliness and professionalism.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and dispatch for updates and scheduling support.
  • Complete service documentation and treatment logs via mobile app or tablet.
  • Uphold safety protocols, legal regulations, and company policies at all times.
