Job description

We are searching for a full-time pest control technician to help keep our customers’ homes safe and comfortable. Your job duties will include investigating homes for evidence of unwanted pests, determining the best way to eliminate them, and utilizing pest control methods to keep them from coming back. Applicants should be comfortable working in the presence of all kinds of critters, such as bed bugs, termites, rodents, and more. Compensation:

$41,000 - $60,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding pest management
  • Combine the correct amount of chemicals to spray over the area based on the area’s measurements
  • Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods
  • Schedule appointments with customers by working with our in-office employees

Qualifications:
  • Possesses a pest control license from the Department of Agriculture
  • Can work outside in the elements, rain or shine
  • Works well in the presence of all kinds of pests, including termites, bedbugs, rodents, and more
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs, climbing stairs, and going into crawl spaces on a daily basis
  • Clean background check
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to obtain a Pest Control License
  • Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing stairs, accessing and exiting roof or attic areas utilizing a ladder, and going into crawl spaces
  • Must have a mobile device with service to use pest control apps
