Position Title: Summer Manufacturing Help (Temp/Seasonal)
Department: Production
Location: Sioux Falls, SD

About AGI
AGI Hi Roller manufactures a line of premier commercial enclosed, dust-tight and self-reloading conveyors, designed for installation in grain handling facilities, soy and corn processing operations and industrial operations. It specializes exclusively in the design and application of conveyors which will not only contain dust and spilled materials but will also automatically reload that material back on the carrying surface of the belt.
The Opportunity
The Summer Manufacturing Helper is a seasonal position that supports production operations. This role assists with basic manufacturing tasks, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and helps ensure efficient workflow across the production departments. This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals seeking hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
The Team
Our large production team consists of welders, assemblers, metal fabricators, powder coaters, and more.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with assembly, packaging, and labeling of products
  • Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision
  • Load and unload materials and finished goods
  • Perform quality checks to ensure product standards are met
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • Support team members and supervisors with daily production tasks
  • Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
  • Follow company safety rules in accordance with OSHA regulations such as wearing required PPE, safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs and gloves.
  • Follow all SOP's and SWI's required for the department.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or currently enrolled in high school/college (preferred)
  • No prior manufacturing experience required; training provided
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift and maneuver 55 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
