We are searching for a LEAP Manufacturing Internship - Starting Summer 2027 at our Mankato, MN facility.

This program provides interns with the opportunity to work withina manufacturing facility with the opportunity to gain exposure in Engineering,Supply Chain, Operations Management, Customer Service or Quality.
This internship will provide you with experiential learningopportunities such as, day-to-day experience working in the field, specialproject ownership and formal presentation opportunities. You will also have theopportunity to learn from associates and leaders in your field of interest,including Executive Leadership. You will be assigned a mentor that can provideboth industry and career advice. Additionally, as an Intern at Senneca you willhave access to our Talent Management Software which provides over 23,000e-learning courses that will enable you to grow personally and professionally. Thisbreadth of experience and skill development will provide you a solid foundationto propel your career for years to come.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Gain a strong understanding of how your area of study can beapplied in a Manufacturing Environment through training, process shadows, onthe job experience.
• Develop and strengthen competencies requiredfor your internship.
• Take ownership to identify trends andrecommend solutions within your area of focus.
• Lead and/or participate in projects: defineobjectives, develop project plans, create agendas, facilitate meetings, managetimelines and deliverables, communicate updates, create contingency plans.
• Complete financial and/or data analysis asrequired.
• Accountable for delivering superior customerservice (internally or externally as required).
• Interact with various levels of corporateleadership, customers, vendors/suppliers, and employees to solve problems. Implement actions that protect company assetsand profitability.
• Enhance ability to effectively communicate,influence and interact with all types of customers, contractors and co-workers.
• Develop conflict resolution and relationshipmanagement skills.
• Remain current with industry andmacroeconomic trends by reading publications.
• Must be a self-started and highly motivated.
Required Qualifications:
  • Exceptional organizational skills with theability to adapt to fast changing environment and effectively manage multipleresponsibilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills- ability to interface effectively with customers and employees
  • Ability and desire to work in a hands-on, industrial environment
  • Previous internship and/or co-op experience preferred
  • Demonstratedproficiency in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, projectmanagement, relationship building and teamwork experience throughextracurricular activities, work experience or academics. Workingknowledge of Adobe products a plus.
