Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Centric Brands is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our Kids Division, supporting Mall based, sporting goods accounts for Under Armour. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic sales team. You'll work closely with the VP of sales to drive revenue, support product strategies, strengthen customer partnerships and develop new business. This role includes direct account responsibility for key retailers such as Hibbetts, Kids Foot Locker, DTLR, Champs, and JDS.
Sales Operations & Account Management
  • Manage daily order review to ensure accurate and timely shipments, distributions, and deliveries.
  • Partner with the Customer Service team to resolve shipping delays, pricing discrepancies, and extension requests.
  • Lead weekly selling meetings to report on account performance and business trends.
  • Maintain and organize samples for market; oversee showroom setup and calendar coordination.
  • Prepare line sheets and market presentations by classification, material, and delivery window.
  • Assist in identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts and prospecting new accounts
  • Work in tandem with Sr. Director of planning in reviewing Replenish programs and Inventory.
Strategic Planning & Business Development
  • Collaborate with senior sales and planning leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive sales and margin growth.
  • Maximize in-season sales through inventory management and strategic product placement.
  • Conduct competitive research and trend analysis to identify opportunities and share insights with internal teams.
  • Support long-term growth initiatives by analyzing market opportunities and proposing entry strategies for new accounts.
Customer Relationships & Communication
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key decision-makers at current and prospective accounts.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams including Sales, Design, Planning and Production.
  • Ensure customer needs are met through proactive communication and exceptional service.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in wholesale sales, preferably in off-price or mid-tier retail channels.
  • Strong understanding of retail math, sales reporting, and inventory analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of ERP systems a plus.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong command of Excel functions, formulas, v-look up/pivot tables, Retail Math
  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, highly detail oriented and meticulous.
  • Strong analytical skills, fluent in retail math and business plan review a plus.

Salary Range: $115,000-125,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
