Account Executive Opportunity At Summation

The Role

As an Account Executive at Summation, you'll be a key member of our go-to-market team, owning the full sales cyclefrom prospecting to closing deals. You'll partner closely with our founders to build and scale our sales engine, lay the groundwork for lasting client relationships, and drive our growing presence in the enterprise performance management space.

Key Responsibilities

Own End-to-End Revenue

  • Generate Pipeline: Identify and target potential customers through proactive outreach and by qualifying inbound leads.

  • Close Deals: Manage the full sales cyclefrom initial contact to closingby negotiating effectively and working with stakeholder teams to finalize contracts.

Strategic Sales Enablement

  • Define the Playbook: Develop repeatable sales processes, including messaging, collateral (such as decks and case studies), and frameworks for handling objections.

  • Collaborate on Sales Strategy: Work with founders and product teams to refine our value propositions based on customer feedback and market insights.

Drive Customer & Team Success

  • Manage Relationships: Build and nurture strong connections with key decision-makers and stakeholders at our customer organizations.

  • Ensure Customer Outcomes: Partner with the Solutions team to exceed customer expectations and deliver measurable success.

  • Share Insights: Serve as the voice of the customer, informing our product roadmap and marketing strategy.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 4+ years in enterprise sales, preferably with a background in data or infrastructure solutions.

  • Hands-On Selling: Demonstrated success in cold outreach and lead generation, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
