Job description

Geriatrician Opportunity

Summa Health - Akron, Ohio

Summa Health is seeking Geriatricians to join our team of 5 physicians and 12 advanced practice providers! The current opportunity will be a mix of outpatient Geriatric assessment and inpatient consults at Akron and Barberton campuses. We are considering both full-time and part-time applications. We are supporting visa sponsorship for 2027.

The chosen candidate will support the evolution of Summa's Complex Care Institute, whose vision is 'to be a center of excellence bringing more help to those patients who need more help. To provide our most vulnerable and complex patients with comprehensive, interdisciplinary care and support in a cost effective, efficient, and well-coordinated plan.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice with nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Comprised of 2 hospitals and over 20 health centers, Summa Health is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state.
