As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Connect Deeper, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health, encompassing evaluations of suicide risk and histories of substance abuse.
• Facilitating crisis intervention and therapeutic sessions, often in challenging environments while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to ethical guidelines.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, and consulting on complex cases to ensure holistic care.
• Monitoring client progress through continuous documentation, effectively utilizing electronic medical records to track outcomes and maintain compliance with reporting mandates.
• Providing ongoing education and support to clients and their families, ensuring they understand treatment goals and strategies.
• Offering on-call crisis services and emergency consultations as necessary, especially during the workweek.

This role is primarily focused on working with mothers and individuals from underrepresented populations who often face unique barriers in accessing mental health services. You will engage with clients in various states of crisis, requiring a compassionate approach that prioritizes empathy and understanding. To be considered for this vital role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree is required, while a master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work is strongly preferred.
• Possession of an independent license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) is mandatory.
