Job description

Adobe Customer Solutions (ACS) Account Executive - Public Sector

As an ACS Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving customer success and expanding Adobe's subscription services and custom professional services footprint within government organizations. You will act as a trusted advisor to public sector clients, delivering strategic guidance to accelerate adoption of subscription offerings such as Ultimate Success, Integrated Services, Premium Learning, while also identifying and closing new custom professional services opportunities tailored to the unique needs of government entities. This is a quota-carrying role that combines consultative solutioning with proactive sales engagement, specifically within the public sector.

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Success & Solutioning
  • Partner with Adobe account teams to position subscription services value and align custom services to the business objectives of government clients.
  • Deliver tailored presentations, value summaries, and success plans to drive solution adoption and improve return on investment for public sector organizations.
  • Support presales solutioning and estimation for services engagements, with a focus on government requirements and procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless handoff from sales to delivery.
Sales & Business Development
  • Drive net-new services bookings by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quota objectives.
  • Lead negotiation, contracting, and approval processes services deals, ensuring alignment with government procurement policies.
  • Work closely with field sales and solution architects to craft compelling proposals and account strategies.
Relationship Management
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with government customers by understanding their business goals and aligning Adobe services offerings to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Support account planning and manage customer issues as needed.
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Track and report performance metrics for deals and partnerships.
  • Leverage internal resources and professional networks to uncover new opportunities and expand influence.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, consulting, or customer success, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota, preferably in a government environment.
  • Strong understanding of subscription services models and professional services sales.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud or similar enterprise-level solutions - with particular focus on web content management, digital asset management, campaign management, electronic forms, and digital rights management.
  • Extensive knowledge of government technology standards and purchasing procedures.
  • Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a matrixed environment.
  • High intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and public sector trends.
Security Requirements

This position requires the ability to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Applicants are required to be U.S. citizens and able to pass comprehensive background investigations.

This role requires regular work from Secure Compartmented Information Facilities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain any customer-required access necessary to perform assigned duties in these environments within 90-days of hire.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $197,800 -- $344,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
