Style Encore is not your average women's clothing store. We offer hundreds of gently used name brands and new looks are added daily. Our customers enjoy a variety of styles and trends selected by our fashion forward staff at prices up to 90% off regular retail value. STORE MANAGEMENT
The store management team acts as liaison between store and owner, clearly communicating and reporting on store business and staff. They manage and promote all aspects of the business including but not limited to: buying, pricing, sales, merchandising, loss prevention, training and managing staff. With strong leadership, the store management team promotes a high level of customer service and continually strives for innovative solutions and alternatives in strengthening the business.
STORE MANAGEMENT MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Meet or exceed financial goals, focusing on sales and overall profitability
  • Maintain controllable expenses within established guidelines
  • Drive sales through the development of staff focusing on coaching, training, and modeling desired behaviors
  • Manage all customer buys to ensure we maintain productivity and profitability standards
  • Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards on a daily basis
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training associates for all store positions
  • Create and maintain an environment of consistent and continuous coaching through positive reinforcement
  • Ensure all inventory functions are completed as directed including regular inventory counts
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and perform daily/weekly monetary auditing tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

STORE MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years prior management and supervisory experience, plus 3 years retail sales experience, preferably in similar merchandise lines
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proven customer service skills and strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Sales and goal oriented
  • Must be computer literate

STORE MANAGEMENT PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Bending, rotating, and reaching customary to a retail environment
  • Exposure to typical retail environment conditions and noise levels
  • Able to operate a computerized sales terminal
