The Style Advisor is responsible for promoting the selling culture in the store, driving business through building strong client relationships, and leading the sales team.
Essential Job Functions

    • Understand the overall concept of the Lilly Pulitzer brand, including the lifestyle, the client, the merchandise, and the heritage.
    • Understand, embrace, and exhibit the Core Values set forth by Lilly Pulitzer.
    • Drive sales through exceptional client experiences utilizing company tools and understanding market trends.
    • Consistently maintain strong product knowledge and KPI awareness.
    • Build relationships with clients from greeting through post-sale contact.
    • Provide clients with personalized styling expertise to create meaningful, memorable moments.
    • Encourage and participate in team selling while taking ownership of the sales floor to ensure client experience is top priority.
    • Maintain up-to-date client information via personalized communication regarding requests and product feedback.
    • Learn and master the Lilly Pulitzer brand framework and maintain high-level of product knowledge.
    • Demonstrate the Lilly Pulitzer selling culture and ensure client experience.

Education and Certifications, Experience and Skills, and Competencies
  • Qualifications for the Position
    • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
    • Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • A self-starter who takes initiative
    • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
    • Prior knowledge of XStore and Tulip a plus.
    • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
    • Ability to be on your feet and maneuver around the store during shift hours.
  • A Little More to Know...
    • This position is classified as a part-time OR full-time hourly, non-exempt position. You will be expected to work, on average, a 25-hour week.
    • This position is eligible for overtime and standard company benefits.
    • This position is based In-Store at our Lilly Pulitzer Retail Location.
    • Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position will adhere to the Company Retail Holiday time off policy.
    • This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
    • This position requires compliance with Lilly Pulitzer policies and a detailed Code of Conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
    • This position is reviewed annually.
