Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and sometimes digital styling platforms is expected. Work EnvironmentRetail stores, showrooms, or fashion brandsPhoto shoots, fashion shows, personal clients, retail
Industry UsageCommon in retail and brand settingsCommon in editorial, celebrity styling, and personal styling

Both roles require a good eye for fashion, but their responsibilities and work settings differ significantly.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A Style Associate typically does not earn $10,000 a month without significant experience or a high-end client base. Most entry-level styling positions pay less, but experienced stylists or those running their own businesses can reach higher income levels.
