Position Overview
The New Studio Openings, Project Manager (NSO PM) is responsible for managing all aspects of new franchise studio openings, ensuring each location is fully prepared for operational success. Reporting to the Director of New Studio Openings, this role collaborates cross-functionally with the Field Marketing, Product & Talent, Business Management, and Construction teams to guide franchise owners throughout the pre-opening process. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and relationship-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. They are passionate about fitness, operations, and empowering franchisees to launch studios that deliver exceptional experiences consistent with the JETSET brand.
Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Project Leadership
  • Manage the end-to-end opening process for new studios, ensuring every milestone-from Onboarding to Grand Opening-is completed to brand standards.
  • Act as the central point of contact for Franchise Owners, driving accountability and progress throughout each project.
  • Anticipate challenges and obstacles, and ensure all stakeholders have the tools and information needed for success.

  • 2. Coaching & Support
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach throughout the pre-opening journey.
  • Conduct group training calls and one-on-one sessions to guide Owners through training, operations, and readiness tasks.
  • Lead In-person Operational Readiness Trainings for Owners and General Managers
  • Educate Owners and General Managers on key business systems (e.g., Mindbody, payroll, scheduling, and reporting) and operational best practices.
  • Provide direction on staffing, brand standards, and daily operations to ensure a strong foundation post-opening.
  • Promote confidence and independence among Franchise Owners through proactive guidance and clear communication.

  • 3. Cross-Department Collaboration
  • Partner with the Field Marketing team to align pre-launch marketing initiatives and timelines with opening schedules.
  • Collaborate with Product and Talent team to coordinate hiring and training timelines
  • Liaise with the Construction team to track site progress and ensure studio readiness aligns with construction timelines.
  • Partner with Business Management team to onboard new franchisees and participate in business planning

  • 4. Operational Systems & Process Management
  • Support department with continually refining project workflows, templates, and reporting for new openings.
  • Support with system setups and account activations for new franchisees.
  • Maintain and evolve pre-opening checklists, milestone trackers, and onboarding documentation to improve clarity and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance communication, and scale support as the network grows.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in operations, client services, training, project management, or boutique fitness management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in boutique fitness and proficiency in Mindbody required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in learning management systems platforms and project management tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, training, and interpersonal skills; capable of influencing and motivating others.

Travel & On-Site Requirements
This is aย hybrid role with regular on-site presence at the HQ office in Dallas, TX (opening mid-year) and regular travel to Miami, FL for internal meetings, collaboration, training, and conferences. Occasional travel may be required for on-site studio opening support.
$70,000 - $95,000 a year
*Top end salary range listed includes annual bonus potential
