Stretch Zone Gastonia is looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive Front Desk & Studio Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our studio.

At Stretch Zone, we believe that everyone deserves to feel better, move better, and live better. Our practitioner-assisted stretching method helps clients improve mobility, flexibility, and overall quality of life in a welcoming, energetic wellness environment. We're looking for someone who genuinely believes in health and wellness and is excited to help create an exceptional experience for every person who walks through our doors.

This is much more than a traditional front desk position. While our Stretch Practitioners focus on delivering exceptional stretches and helping prospective clients find the right membership, our Front Desk & Studio Operations Manager keeps everything else in the studio moving.

You'll be the person who knows what's happening in the studio — which clients need a call back, which leads need follow-up, which accounts need attention, where there are openings in the schedule, what needs to be cleaned or restocked, and what the team needs to have a successful day.

What You'll Do:

Serve as the welcoming, professional first point of contact for clients and prospective clients, both in person and over the phone

Manage incoming calls, voicemails, client questions, daily scheduling, appointment confirmations, cancellations, and schedule openings

Contact and consistently follow up with new leads and prospective clients, including scheduling and confirming introductory stretches and following up on missed opportunities

Monitor client accounts and conduct follow-up regarding failed payments, past-due balances, scheduling needs, session utilization, and other account concerns

Maintain accurate client information, notes, and communication within our studio systems

Take ownership of the cleanliness, organization, appearance, and overall readiness of the studio, including opening, closing, cleaning, restocking, and routine operational tasks

Monitor studio supplies, equipment, and facility needs and communicate maintenance or inventory needs to ownership

Support our Stretch Practitioners with scheduling, client communication, and day-to-day operational needs so they can remain focused on stretching and sales

Communicate client concerns, staffing issues, and operational needs to ownership as appropriate

Take ownership of day-to-day studio needs, ensuring follow-up is completed, details don't fall through the cracks, and tasks are addressed without waiting to be asked

Who We're Looking For:

Our ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in being the person others can depend on. You're organized, friendly, confident on the phone, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and naturally notice when something needs attention.

You should also be:

Passionate about health, fitness, wellness, and helping others feel their best

Dependable, punctual, accountable, and committed to following through

Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with clients both in person and over the phone

Comfortable making outbound calls, following up consistently, and having difficult conversations when necessary

Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Willing to clean, organize, restock, and pitch in wherever needed to maintain an exceptional studio environment

Comfortable learning and using scheduling, CRM, membership, and point-of-sale systems

A collaborative team player who communicates well and takes pride in supporting the success of the entire studio

Previous experience in customer service, front desk operations, fitness/wellness, hospitality, administrative support, or management is preferred. More importantly, we're looking for someone with the initiative, reliability, and ownership mindset to help keep our studio running at its best.

If you're passionate about wellness, love working with people, and are the kind of person who sees what needs to be done and makes it happen, we'd love to meet you. Join Stretch Zone Gastonia and help us create a studio where our clients feel welcomed, supported, and excited to keep moving toward a healthier, more active life.
