Job description

Studio Coordinator WANTED
Compensation: $25-28/hr
Location: Los Angeles, California, United States (Onsite)
• The Role
The Studio Coordinator sits within a central team that services every production under the TubeScience Studios roof. You'll rotate between hands-on set support, equipment preparation and fulfilment, and client product provisioning and shipping depending on what the studio needs most on any given day.
This is a role for someone who's operationally sharp, physically comfortable on a production floor, and energized by the variety of keeping multiple productions running smoothly at once.
If you've worked as a production assistant and are looking for broader operational scope - building expertise across gear, product logistics, and set operations while supporting a full portfolio of productions rather than a single crew - then this is for you.
What You'll Do
Provide on-set operational and logistical support to production teams, including setup, breakdown, talent coordination, and general production assistance
Execute direction from production team leads during active shoots while upholding the professional and safety standards of the Studio Coordinators team
Coordinate equipment logistics for shoots - including collection, transport, and return of rented gear, in partnership with the broader Studio Coordinators team
Collaborate on the end-to-end gear fulfilment workflow: receive reservation requests, prepare orders, and ensure gear is staged and ready for studio and location productions
Maintain gear inventory accuracy through daily condition checks and monthly audits
Track and manage production consumables and tools, ensuring stock levels are maintained and distribution is documented
Maintain accurate product inventory records across all check-out, check-in, shipping, and restocking activity
Serve as the point of contact for product returns, including condition assessment and documentation
Maintain the general tidiness of the studio and production workspaces and ensure sets are prepared and reset between bookings
Identify challenges within studio operations workflows and bring proactive solutions to the team
Who You Are
1-2 years of experience in production operations, studio coordination, or a comparable hands-on production environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks across multiple productions and teams
Excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to different working styles
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-team environment where priorities shift quickly and the balance of responsibilities changes day to day
Working familiarity with inventory, reservation, or project management platforms (e.g., Cheqroom, Monday.com, or similar)
Comfortable with physical production tasks: gear handling, set setup and breakdown, product staging, and shipping logistics
Team-first mentality with the maturity to operate under a central operations team rather than aligning to a single production crew
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and on-set safety regulations
Based in Los Angeles - this role requires full-time onsite presence at TS Studios and on locations in the LA metro area
• Nice to Have
• Working familiarity with industry-standard grip and electric equipment
• Experience supporting multi-team or multi-set production environments
☆ Why TubeScience
TubeScience produces content at a pace and scale that most studios don't - and the Studio Operations team is what makes that possible. You'll be at the centre of a high-output production environment, building real operational expertise across equipment, product, and set logistics while working alongside teams that move fast and ship constantly.
If you like staying busy, solving problems on your feet, and knowing that the work you did today directly kept productions moving - this is the place!
