Description
This position will play a crucial role in providing accurate information and an exceptional experience to prospective students through guided campus tours.
Examples of Duties
Campus Tours:
  • Conduct guided campus tours for prospective students, families, and other interested parties.
Recruitment Support:
  • Assist the Office of Admissions and Admissions Staff in various recruitment tasks
  • Participate in outreach efforts such as writing cards and emails, making telephone inquiries, and sending texts to students in our database
  • Represent the college at college fairs alongside admissions counselors
  • Participate in social media campaigns to promote the college and its events
Office Work:
  • Support the administrative operations of the Office of Admissions
  • Transferring calls internally across campus
  • Checking the admissions voicemail
  • Entering prospective student data into our systems
  • Warmly welcoming visitors to campus
Event Preparation:
  • Assist in preparing for admissions events, such as stuffing and organizing folders, bags, t-shirts, and other materials
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current enrollment as a New College Student
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and proactive approach
  • Enthusiasm for representing the college and sharing your experiences with prospective students
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings after 5pm and occasional weekends
  • Ability to adapt to various weather conditions for outdoors tours
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn and use admissions-related software
