Job description

WiCell seeks a Student Office Assistant to join our Admin team! We are seeking a current student who is proactive, detail-oriented, able to work independently and has strong communication skills. This position will be responsible for a variety of general office administration tasks including maintaining office/break room supplies, organizing details for staff meetings and events, reviewing inquiry emails and forwarding to the appropriate contact, and other general office support.

Student positions offer flexible schedules, an opportunity to gain great work experience and the ability to network and collaborate with WiCell staff in a professional and friendly office environment.

We are looking to hire a Student Office Assistant to start immediately, work through the academic year and continue into the summer and future academic years if the opportunity is mutually beneficial to the student and WiCell. We expect this intern to work approximately 10-15 hours per week (Monday - Friday) and will ideally be onsite at least 3 days per week. There is an opportunity for additional hours during the summer and school breaks. WiCell does have free and convenient parking and/or will supply a bus pass if needed.

WiCell is located on the bus line at 504 S. Rosa Road in Research Park on the west side of Madison.

Starting hourly pay is $16 per hour.
