Job Summary
Join the heart of Ingram Library's operations as a Library Administration Student Assistant! Gain valuable experience in a dynamic academic setting while helping create a welcoming, engaging environment for students, faculty, staff, and the community.
This summer position offers the potential to continue into Fall 2026 based on performance and departmental needs, providing an excellent opportunity for ongoing experience with the library team.
In this role, you¿ll support library goals by promoting services and resources and increasing student engagement through marketing efforts. Your work will help strengthen the library¿s role as a vibrant hub for learning, collaboration, and discovery.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to develop, curate and manage engaging content for the library¿s social media platforms, update library web pages, and create informational materials such as library info sheets
  • May conduct research on marketing and social media trends
  • Assist with library events, including designing marketing materials and participating in promotional efforts
  • Track and report engagement metrics related to library events and social media activities
  • Provide administrative support to the Library's Administrative Team and library units, including answering phones, assisting visitors, data entry, and filing
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • UWG Enrollment: Minimum of 5 summer credit hours
