Student Housing Property Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee daily operations of a student housing community. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, managing financial performance, leading onsite staff, and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day property operations, ensuring strong financial and operational performance
  • Hire, train, and manage onsite team members (leasing, maintenance, support staff)
  • Drive occupancy through leasing and marketing strategies
  • Manage budgets, expenses, rent collection, and financial reporting
  • Oversee resident relations, conflict resolution, and retention efforts
  • Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and capital improvement projects
  • Plan and execute move-ins, move-outs, and annual turnover
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
  • Respond to emergencies and after-hours needs as required

Qualifications

  • Property management experience preferred (student housing a plus)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of leasing, budgeting, and resident relations
  • Understanding of Fair Housing and landlord/tenant laws

Schedule

  • Full-time, primarily daytime hours
