The Student Services Hub is a fun, friendly, fast-paced environment that provides the opportunity to work with students, staff, faculty, and guests by assisting with their financial aid, registration and records, and student account needs. studentserviceshub.gwu.edu
Position Specific Summary
The student employee is the first point of contact for all visitors to the Student Services Hub and will perform administrative tasks to support the operation of the center. The student employee will be responsible for checking in customers for Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Accounts services, guiding students through self-service options related to our partner offices, assembling materials, filing, scanning, and indexing documents, distributing mail, and providing support with other general office tasks as needed.
Standard Position Description
The student will be the first point of contact for visitors and customer service inquiries to the department. Tasks may include: greeting visitors, responding to in person, phone, email inquiries, provide customer service to other students, faculty, and staff; direct inquiries to the appropriate resources as needed; and assist with other office tasks. Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific office needs.
