Type: 6-Month project with possible extension/conversion ****Mandatory 50 hour work week**** (M-F | 7am-5:30) Compensation: Competitive Salary with Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k Benefits Job Description: TEKsystems Inc. is seeking entry level individuals for a spotter position to join our team in the Greater South BendArea supporting commercial construction projects. This position offers a contract with the possibility transitioning to a full time employee Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems and equipment. • Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot network issues. • Configure and program telecommunications devices and systems. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless network connectivity. • Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving issues. • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service activities. • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus. • Proven experience in telecommunications or related field. (Preferred) • Knowledge of telecommunications systems, including routers, switches, and cabling. (Preferred) • Familiarity with VoIP, PBX systems, and network protocols. (Preferred) • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and requirements. This is a Contract position based out of New Carlisle, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
