Salary: $25-30/hr
We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder with a strong background in MIG and Stick (Arc) welding. Ideal candidates will have experience repairing and fabricating mining equipment, heavy equipment, or other large structural steel projects. This position requires a safety-focused professional who can produce high-quality welds, troubleshoot repairs, and work from blueprints with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG and Stick (Arc) welding on structural steel and heavy equipment.
  • Repair, rebuild, and fabricate mining equipment and other structural components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine proper repair methods.
  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and structural standards.
  • Operate grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of structural welding experience required.
  • Proficient in MIG and Stick (Arc) welding.
  • Experience welding on mining equipment, heavy equipment, or large structural steel strongly preferred.
