Senior Manager, Platform Strategy & Audience Engagement
BYUtv | BYUradio is seeking a visionary Senior Platform Manager to lead digital platforms and scheduled content and drive audience engagement across apps, websites, and programming. What you'll do in this position:
  • Lead strategy for BYUtv and BYUradio platforms, aligning programming, product experiences, and audience engagement initiatives
  • Mentor and guide managers across Digital Product & Merchandising, Programming, and Customer Engagement
  • Use analytics and audience insights to inform scheduling, content discoverability, and marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and Technology teams to innovate and elevate platform experiences
  • Champion cross-platform storytelling, personalization, and engagement initiatives that grow and retain audiences

What qualifies you for this role:
Required
  • A firm commitment to the mission of BYU and BYU Broadcasting
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, media, communications, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in digital media, product management, programming, or audience engagement
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and people management skills
  • Expertise with analytics tools, UX/UI best practices, CRM/CEM platforms, and digital/OTT ecosystems
  • Experience integrating digital platforms, programming strategy, and customer lifecycle initiatives to drive audience growth and engagement

Preferred
  • Familiarity with entertainment programming, digital merchandising, UX/UI best practices, CRM/CEM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud).
  • Experience with OTT and app ecosystems, as well as traditional and digital broadcast scheduling.
  • Proven success driving innovation in cross-platform audience engagement and retention.

Typical Starting Pay: $92,000 - $119,000
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate's job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
